Comment: EVENT STARTED BETWEEN 4:00 AM AND 4:30 AM, PERSONNEL ARRIVED AT 5:15 AM TO DISPATCH PERSONNEL THAT WERE ALREADY IN THE FIELD. WE EXPERIENCED PROBLEMS WITH OUTAGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. DELAYED UPDATING CORRECT OUTAGE NUMBERS, THAT SYSTEM JUST UPDATED AT 9:45 AM AT THAT POINT WE WERE UNDER 400 OFF. WHEN WE FIRST ARRIVED OUR OUTAGE NUMBERS SHOWED 4900 CONSUMERS OFF, BUT THAT WASN'T ACCURATE DUE TO TRANSMISSION OPERATIONS. WE FEEL THE SYSTEM IS CURRENTLY UP AND ACCURATE AT THIS TIME. Comment: Crews have made significant headway since storms began and are expecting to see more progress as daylight hours reveal the extent of the damage. Work has been complicated by the saturated ground, downed trees and debris. Farmers RECC reminds its members to stay away from fallen power lines. Always assume that any line is conducting electricity. In addition, if you are using a power generator, make sure you are doing so safely.
