Final Order Entered: 1. The proposed transfer of the ownership of Classic's wastewater-related assets for Ridgewood, pursuant to the terms of the APA, is approved, subject to the conditions set forth in ordering paragraphs 2 through 5, as of the date of this Order. 2. The rates and charges set forth in Appendix A to this Order and the modifications to KAWC's wastewater tariff as set forth in Appendix B to this Order for wastewater service that KAWC renders on and after October 7, 2016, to the Ridgewood customers are approved. Within 20 days of the closing of the transaction, KAWC shall file, using the Commission's electronic Tariff Filing System, its revised tariffs setting out the revisions authorized herein and reflecting that they were approved pursuant to this Order. 3. KAWC shall notify the Commission in writing of the closing of the transaction within ten days of the closing and shall file with the Commission the journal entries used to record the purchase within 30 days of the closing. 4. If the transaction does not close within 60 days of the date of this Order, the Joint Applicants shall file with the Commission a report on the status of their efforts to complete the transfer. 5. Any material revisions to the proposed transaction shall be approved by the Commission in order for the amendment to be effective.

Order Entered: 1. KAWC's Petition for confidential protection is granted. 2. Pursuant to KRS 61.878, the information for which KAWC requests confidential protection shall not be placed in the public record or made available for public inspection for an indefinite period, or until further Order of the Commission. 3. Use of the material in question in any Commission proceeding shall be in compliance with 807 KAR 5:001, Section 13(9). 4. KAWC shall inform the Commission if the material in question becomes publicly available or no longer qualifies for confidential treatment. 5. If a non-party to this proceeding requests to inspect material granted confidential treatment by this Order, KAWC shall have 20 days from receipt of written notice of the request to demonstrate that the material still falls within the exclusions from disclosure requirements established in KRS 61.878. If KAWC is unable to make such demonstration, the requested materials shall be made available for inspection. 6. The Commission shall not make the requested material available for inspection for 20 days following an Order finding that the material no longer qualifies for confidential treatment in order to allow KAWC to seek a remedy afforded by law.

Order Entered: 1. The procedural schedule set forth in the Appendix to this Order shall be followed in this proceeding. 2. A party shall file an original and six copies in paper medium of all papers that are filed by uploading an electronic version. 3. a. Responses to requests for information in paper medium shall be appropriately bound, tabbed, and indexed and shall include the name of the witness who will be responsible for responding to questions related to the information provided, with an original and six copies in paper medium and an electronic version to the Commission. b. Each response shall be answered under oath or, for representatives of a public or private corporation or a partnership or association or a governmental agency, be accompanied by a signed certification of the preparer or person supervising the preparation of the response on behalf of the entity that the response is true and accurate to the best of that person's knowledge, information, and belief formed after a reasonable inquiry. c. Any party shall make timely amendment to any prior responses if it obtains information which indicates that the response was incorrect when made or, though correct when made, is now incorrect in any material respect. d. For any requests to which a party fails or refuses to furnish all or part of the requested information, that party shall provide a written explanation of the specific grounds for its failure to completely and precisely respond.
