Order Entered: The retail water rates requested by South Hopkins are denied. 2. The rates as set forth In the Appendix to this Order are approved for retail water service rendered by South Hopkins on and after the date of this Order. 3. Within 20 days of the date of this Order, South Hopkins shall file revised tariff sheets with the Commission, using the Commission's electronic Tariff Filing System, setting forth the rates approved herein. 4. The Executive Director Is delegated authority to grant reasonable extensions of time for the filling of any documents required by this Order upon South Hopkins’s showing of good cause for such extension.

NOTICE OF FILING OF COMMISSION STAFF REPORT

Order Entered: 1. No later than August 14, 2015, Commission Staff shall file with the Commission and serve upon all parties of record a written report containing its findings and recommendations regarding South Hopkins's requested rate adjustment. 2. No later than August 28, 2015, or 14 days after the date of the filing of the Commission Staff Report, whichever occurs earlier, each party of record shall file with the Commission: a. Its written comments on and any objections to the findings and recommendations contained in the Commission Staff Report; b. Any additional evidence for the Commission to consider. c. Written notice as to whether this matter may be submitted for a decision based upon the existing record without a hearing. 3. If Commission Staff finds that South Hopkins's financial condition supports a higher rate than South Hopkins proposes or the assessment of an additional rate or charge not proposed in South Hopkins's application, South Hopkins, in its responses to the Commission Staff Report, shall also state in writing its position on whether the Commission should authorize the assessment of the higher rate or recommend an additional rate or charge. 4. If Commission Staff recommends changes in manner in which South Hopkins accounts for depreciation of South Hopkins's assets, South Hopkins, in its response to Staff Report, shall state its position on whether the Commission should require South Hopkins to implement the proposed change for accounting purposes.
